We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team. The Systems Administrator will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex C5ISR systems and infrastructure solutions, spanning Information Operations (IO), METOC, and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Work you'll do
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure their optimal performance and security
- Monitor system performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard system integrity and data confidentiality
- Perform routine system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure continuity
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and test system upgrades and enhancements
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize disruption to operations
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in system administration and network management
- Provide technical support and assistance to end users, addressing their IT-related concerns and inquiries
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies and outages as needed

Qualifications
Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field;
- 3 years of experience in system administration or a similar role, managing complex IT infrastructures
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and their administration
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience in managing network devices, firewalls, and routers
- Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, as well as disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Active Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems
- Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Active TS/SCI Government Clearance
