Call Center Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview:

• The Pharmacy Technician will be working in a call center environment and assisting customers via phone
• This organization is looking to get people started ASAP!
• Pay: 19/hr
• Shifts Available: Monday- Friday 10AM - 7PM , 11AM - 8PM or 12AM - 9PM (must be available to work these shifts)

Job Requirements:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license by the state of Florida
• Call center experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Duties will include, but are not limited to, answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls for members, medical providers, or pharmacy providers, appropriate processing of prior authorization requests, and assisting members and providers with inquiries through other media platforms as needed (fax, web, e-mail)
• Collaborate with other departments to assist in obtaining prior authorizations, patient assistance medications or financial assistance
• Proactively works on prior authorization and patient assistance enrollments that are due to expire
• Process submitted prior authorization requests within the required time frame mandated by the State client
• Other duties as assigned
