Carpenter & Concrete Finisher, Commercial Self Perform

As a concrete finisher and installer, you will beexpected to contribute on job sites in Northern California and SouthernCalifornia, The Southwest US, and Pacific Northwest US. This is a travelbased position for which nearly all work will occur on the road.
Job durations will range from 1-3 weeks and will beundertaken by a cross functional team of 4-6 members handling all tradesrequired to get the work done, together. The crew will remain consistentthroughout the job and also from job to job allowing for team cohesion andimprovement as a group.
This team will be expected to push the limits ofconstruction technology and techniques, and as such will have direct feedbackcontact with design engineers, project managers, and business developersrelated to the program. A well-qualified applicant will have experiencein many aspects of civil and underground utility installation.
The role will be asked to work alongside andparticipate in various trades as well as train new employees and educate othermembers of the organization about the complexities of constructionimplementation. In-between concrete projects the candidate will be trained tosupport Powerpack and Solar panel installation.


Responsibilities

• Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship in concrete formwork, site layout, and concrete finish
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety withability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planningwith an emphases on identifying hazards
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with all levels of management; must have high degree of initiative, and the ability to work alone and effectively with other people
• Extensive knowledge in using hand and power tools
• The ability to think outside the box and find innovative solutions

Requirements

• Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based off drawings or field walks
• Ability to produce as-built drawing for work performed
• Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required

Expected Compensation


• Roofer I - $17.27 - $25.91/hour
• Roofer II - $19.38 - $29.07/hour
• Roofer III - $21.39 - $32.08/hour
+ cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
