Are you interested in sharing your knowledge and talent with students by helping them earn their CDL? Blue Ridge Community College is looking for a weekend trainer to expand its successful Commercial Driving School. This is a part-time position assisting with training commercial driving students to earn their Class A CDL and for entry level positions in the commercial driving industry. May assist with Class B instruction. Only 2 - 4 students per instructional session. Weekend courses are up to 12 weeks long with the potential for three, 12-week sessions per year with breaks between sessions. Full orientation and training is included for all new instructors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Class A CDL, knowledge of the commercial driving industry, knowledge of DMV/DOT regulations, good verbal/written communication skills, and ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with training/instruction and transportation logistics.
