The Manager, Central Business Office has responsibility of the areas described in the essential job function section. The Manager possesses requisite managerial and technical abilities to provide leadership and direction in developing and maintaining systems, processes and work flows, for the timely and accurate reporting accounts receivable management. The position has collaborative work relationships with Patient Registration, Health Information Management, Case Management and Compliance.Description

• High school graduate required. Associate or college degree preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Excellent PC skills required specifically the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other related desktop applications.
• Proven ability to get the job done, past performance reflects that ability.
• Proven capability to understand and grasp knowledge of processes and determine methods to improve, when necessary.
• Total acceptance and belief in the Baptist Health mission and values.
• Positive attitude about self, others and Baptist Health.
• This position requires mobility to meet the following: Sitting 40%, Walking 30%, Standing 30%. Bending and lifting may be occasionally required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds is required.
• Verbal and written communications are required with clarity and ease of understanding.
• Ability to hear and understand oral communication with or without mechanical devices.
