Medix is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support a Dermatology practice in Portsmouth, NH. The Medical Assistant is essential during the patient visit, accompanying the dermatologist in the room and promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as:
• Surgical photographs
• Biopsies
• Excisions
• Electrodessication and curettage
• I&D
• Skin cancer surgery
• Phototherapy
• Injections
• Trichograms
• Tzank preps
• Dermabrasion
• Patch testing
• Blue light

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

7:45am-5pm

No weekends or evenings

Position Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Team Player
• Reliable
