Shift: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5p / Friday 8am - 1:30pm

The role you'll contribute: The Quality Clinical Coordinator (QCC) is involved in coordinating efforts to improve quality with an emphasis on coding, risk, and other clinical improvement initiatives. With the assistance of Business & Quality Data Analysts as needed, a QCC identifies opportunities through analytics and their clinical background to either present to Value Based Care Specialist LPNs for continued work and/or complete alongside them if within scope of their certification. The QCC will also assist in care gap closure not immediately tied to clinicals when needed. The QCC will work with AHMG practices, providers, and all levels of management to assist in the development of processes to reduce risk and improve clinical quality of care provided to patients.

• Coordinates with operations, insurance companies, and the clinically integration network to close care gaps and address risk
• Maintains understanding of quality and clinical requirements based on government mandates and regulations
• Reviews medical records and abstract clinical data elements for quality measure care gap closure
• Creates and/or manipulate excel spreadsheets as needed to assist in clinical initiatives in conjunction with Business and Quality Data Analyst
• Conducts pre-visit chart review of patients as needed and other aligned clinical tasks to assist Value Based Care Specialists

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of practical medical assisting experience
  • Must be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following:
    1. American Association of Medical Assistants ("AAMA") for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)
    2. American Medical Certification Association ("AMCA") for Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC)
    3. American Medical Technologists ("AMT") for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
    4. National Association for Health Professionals ("NAHP") for Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
    5. National Center for Competency Testing ("NCCT") for National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
    6. National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)=
