Description

The Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible to the Occupational Therapist providing occupational therapy services as directed. The Occupational Therapist Assistant contributing to service line process improvement projects, conducting work activities according to departmental policy and procedure and under the supervision of an occupational therapist. The scope of these activities is defined by the rehabilitation services processes which successfully integrate the organization mission, vision, and values.

Position Requirements

Education:

• Ability to obtain a South Carolina license.

Experience:

• No experience required; however, 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of South Carolina.
• BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
