FlexStaff is looking for a Surgical Tech to work for our client, an ambulatory surgery center in Syosset.

This is a full-time direct hire position! Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. No nights, weekends or holidays!

Pay is $35-$45 depending on experience!

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and ready for use.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies as needed.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure, following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Monitor the patient's vital signs and assist with positioning and draping the patient for surgery.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support as required.
- Handle specimens and send them to the laboratory for analysis.
- Assist with post-operative care, including dressing changes and wound care.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as a Surgical Technician is required
- One year of previous experience working as a Surgical Technician in a hospital or acute care setting is highly desirable.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
