Our client is a global leader and profitable organization that is based in the Chicago area. In this team-oriented and collaborative process engineering role, you will play a key part in a project team by using OLI Systems software to do process flowsheeting.

  • Experience and ability to handle complete systems and turnkey installations with project scope ranging from process development, engineering studies, equipment supply and commissioning

Position Overview
  • Responsible for performing process design and analysis function for chemical processing equipment systems
  • Use OLI Systems software to perform process flowsheeting as part of process design
  • Prepare equipment process calculations and develop design drawings and procurement specification
  • Participate in commissioning to ensure that system meets contract requirements

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Master of Science degree is a plus
  • Ideally more than 5 years process design experience in a chemical processing industry
  • OLI Systems software for process flow sheeting=A PLUS
  • Some domestic and international travel required
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional oriented setting
  • Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
