Job Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation of strategies to effectively integrate the Agency's compliance efforts with its daily operations, and then reporting the results of compliance activities to management. As the leader of the Compliance team, this position will provide direction for all of the Agency's compliance activities. This position is also responsible for the Healthcare Compliance program which includes state and federal regulatory standards that are unique to healthcare organizations. Finally, this position will direct the internal audit functions for the Agency to independently appraise, report, recommend, and assist in evaluating and strengthening MDVA's system of internal controls, risk management, financial reporting, and governance processes.
