As a Chief of Staff, reporting to the President of Infineon Americas, this Chief of Staff (CoS) role will plan, direct and manage strategic, operational and administrative activities for the president and the America's Leadership Board (ALB). Job description:

The CoS will organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the president and ALB to facilitate efficient decision making. The CoS is a key role that will have material positive impact on the organization through outstanding execution, judgment and attention to what matters. The CoS will work closely with the president and the executive staff to help achieve Infineon's ambitious goals in the Americas.

The Chief of Staff must have a bias toward action and be able to break down complex problems into steps, milestones, and metrics. They will be able to structure, support, and drive a wide variety of efforts. As part of the leadership team, the CoS must make things happen -- quickly, decisively and with care. Besides ensuring that the office of the president is running smoothly in day-to-day operations, the CoS will have managerial, strategic planning and implementation responsibilities as outlined below.

In your new role you will:
  • Strategy: Support the definition and execution of our regional strategy as assigned by the president.
  • Initiatives/Projects/Workshops: Own selected work streams, initiatives, projects or workshops and manage the entire process including developing a strategy, directing the team's execution and delivering the anticipated goals.
  • Assist the president in facilitating effective decision-making and be a thought sparring partner. Support the president as needed in his additional role as "Country Research Office" (CRO).
  • Governance: Support the president in planning, coordinating and delivering on key events like the monthly strategy reviews, SVIC CEO reviews and bi-annual leadership offsites. Participate in regular executive staff meetings. Drive alignment, collaboration and visibility across the executive team.
  • Management: Functionally manage some of the team in the office of the president. Legally manage several individuals currently reporting into the president.
  • Partner closely with other functions relevant to the team, using cross-functional knowledge and seeking to understand issues, trends and perspectives that may influence the various outcomes.
  • Track: Manage the priorities and projects dashboard to ensure we achieve our goals, flagging risks and opportunities for improvement.


Your Profile:

  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills. Superb leadership and influencing skills and confident in managing up. Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management.
  • Tenacious and diligent with a strong attention to detail. Ensures materials are polished and consistent across deliverables.
  • Strong Program Management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, lead complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Naturally wired to act as a catalyst. Team player with ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to drive collaboration and resolve conflict between diverse stakeholders. Able to quickly become a trusted partner for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • An action-orientation/drive - must thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, drive to deliver results.

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $232,000 salary per year
Maximum of $319,000 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
