Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role as C&I Specialist, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products, systems, and services within the multi-family segment, in line with the division's, Electrification Smart Business, strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. This role will need to be located in the greater Atlanta, GA area (#LI-Remote) to serve the territory, with occasional need for travel outside of the area to meet with clients (10%). You will be mainly accountable for: - Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy. - Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers. - Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. - Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or GED with 8+ years sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years sales experience
  • Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling multi-family projects to electrical contractors
  • Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products
  • Experience working with electrical contractors
  • Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs
  • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
