Department's 25 faculty, instructors, and researchers contribute to this innovative culture. Our research expenditures exceed $3 million per year. We offer ABET accredited B.S. degrees in both Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering along with graduate programs at the master's and doctoral levels; these programs currently serve over 360 undergraduates and 80 graduate students. Position Summary
The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering ( CEE ) invites local, qualified candidates to serve as adjunct instructors in the following engineering specialty areas: Environmental, Water-Resources, Geotechnical, Structural, Transportation, or general engineering courses.
The CEE Department uses adjunct instructors to broaden student exposure to real-world design content, and to cover core classes when needed.
The need for adjunct instructors varies; please contact the CEE Department to find out about upcoming course adjunct needs at ceedept@pdx.edu.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S./B.A. in Civil & Environmental Engineering (or closely related field).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience preferred.
