Position Highlights:

• Work environment: Our Emergency Department includes 22 beds, 4 trauma bays and 18 treatment rooms. Additional treatment space includes 2 triage rooms and an additional 5 bed Kid Care unit for pediatrics, with approximately 40,000 patient visits per year. Bellin Health's Emergency Department is a well-equipped unit design by our frontline teams. Board-certified ED Physicians work in partnership with advanced practice clinicians, Registered Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, Student Nurse Technicians and CNAs to provide personalized care for emergency room patients.
• Salary Range is based on relevant years of experience along with advancement in role opportunities.

Shift Hours:
Option for Casual, Part Time or Full Time opportunities. We offer flexible scheduling with options for day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Weekend rotations will include a modified block schedule dependent on availability, with every other weekend and every third weekend blocks

You will have the opportunity to work both 8 hour and 12 hour shifts
Job Description:

Responsible for providing patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Coordinates and processes department patient information; performs secretarial tasks, and maintains organized work flow of department. Functions as department receptionist, and responds to customer inquires or customer is referred to appropriate person(s).

Qualifications:

High school diploma and health care business courses preferred, or demonstrates necessary skills to fulfill job duty/responsibilities is required.

Listed on Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry or current Wisconsin Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) license/certification required.

Previous customer service and medical office/health care experience preferred, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with computer/keyboarding skills required.
