Job Description:
Collaborates with the nurse or physician to determine nursing needs of the patients
Prepares patients for examination and treatment
Provides for patient comfort. Monitors physiological status
Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
Performs initial screening of patients. Assists with medical treatment of patients. Provides emergency first aid measures.
Performs Basic Life Support (CPR). CPR certification required.
Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.
Screens telephone calls for referral to nurse or physician
Maintains patient files, records, and other information.
May call in patient's prescriptions as directed by physician. Qualifications:
2+ Years of Experience - Required
National Certification - Required
EPIC experience - preferred
BLS
