FlexStaff is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for our client, a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Melville. This role is Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays. This is a management position and hours may vary based on the needs of the center.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and directing nursing care in all clinical areas of the facility; Pre-Op, OR and PACU
• Coordination of care provided in these units on a daily basis, collaborating closely with the Administrator.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, applicable laws and standards.
• Representing the healthcare delivery team to ensure patient safety, quality care and safe, efficient clinical operations by supporting effective patient care delivery systems.
• Responsible for the infection control duties of the center, including developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures, conducting surveillance activities, and educating staff and patients on infection control practices
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with progressive leadership in an acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery center
• Knowledge of operating room standards and multi-specialty experience.

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$150,000/year
