The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics and the divisions of Respiratory Medicine, Allergy, and Immunology and Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition invite applications for a Clinical Faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position will be tenure-eligible or ineligible. This position will be 75% Allergy and 25% Gastroenterology.
For the 75% Allergy component, this position will:

For the 75% Allergy component, this position will:
- See general pediatrics allergy clinic patients and supervise allergy shot and biologic patients.
- Attend on Allergy/Immunology inpatient consult service.
- Perform oral immunotherapy (OIT) and oral food challenges (OFCs).
- Utilize unique GI/Allergy expertise in caring for EGID, FPIES, Alpha-gal, and other patients whose disease processes overlap these two specialties. Perform appropriate GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, transnasal endoscopy and EndoFLIP in the clinical care of these patients.
- See patients in satellite clinics, including Zion's Crossroads and Riverside & via telemedicine.
- Teach & supervise student, resident, and fellow trainees in outpatient clinic and the inpatient consult service.
- Serve ½ day of general GI clinic per week.
- Teach & supervise student, resident, and fellow trainees in outpatient clinic.
- Participate in satellite clinic coverage commensurate to clinical FTE.
