Job Summary
The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate for a clinical instructor/clinical assistant/clinical associate/clinical professor position. The candidate will share responsibility for the diagnostic interpretation, sign-out, test development, and clinical consultation in the clinical cytogenetics and molecular genetics testing laboratories as well as responsibility for NGS review in the molecular diagnostics laboratory. Participation in the technical direction of the laboratories, as well as active involvement in our teaching and research missions, will also be expected.

Required Qualifications*
The applicant will have an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD and should be ABMGG or CCMG board certified or eligible in Clinical Cytogenetics and Genomics, Molecular Genetics and Genomics, or Laboratory Genetics and Genomics. Experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) is required, and experience in whole-exome or whole genome sequencing variant analysis is highly desired.
