Job Summary
The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital at Michigan Medicine is recruiting for a full-time board eligible or certified pediatric nephrologist for a clinical track position to join our diverse faculty group. A successful candidate must possess the full range of pediatric nephrology clinical skills, including ICU nephrology, dialysis, renal biopsy, and transplant experience. Advancement in the clinical track is contingent on contributions in at least one of the focus areas of education, quality improvement, patient safety, or clinical scholarship/research along with excellent clinical care/service. Rank of selected candidate is dependent upon qualifications.
Our Pediatric Dialysis program offers a robust CRRT program (approximately 500-600 days/year), plasma exchange, inpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, in center hemodialysis, and home peritoneal dialysis. Average numbers are 10-15 in center hemodialysis and 10-15 home peritoneal dialysis patients. We are members of SCOPE and are involved in multiple projects. For a candidate with interest in administration there is an opportunity to transition into Medical Director of Pediatric Dialysis and Acute Therapies.

Required Qualifications*
A successful candidate must possess the full range of pediatric nephrology clinical skills, including ICU nephrology, dialysis, and transplant experience.
The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO degree, be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Nephrology, and will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of excellence in clinical care and clinical and/or didactic teaching is expected.
