This is a full time position with varied 8-hour shifts, primarily with start times between 7am and 8am. Saturday weekend rotation every 5-6 weeks. Located at our core lab in Sorrento Mesa. Includes $4,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation assistance for eligible new hires.

Our Scripps Medical Laboratory is our system's core lab, servicing all sites and processing over 2.6 million tests annually. The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) will be trained on a wide test menu that includes many departments, providing variety and a wide range of experience from day to day.

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree or degree acceptable for California Laboratory Licensure
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Required Certification/Registration:

• CDPH Licensure: MTA (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of the Clinical Lab

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• One year equivalent full time in a clinical laboratory.
