Marquis Health Consulting Services provides administrative and consulting services to skilled nursing facilities and Senior Housing communities throughout the United States Eastern Seaboard. We pride ourselves on providing operational guidance to enable nursing facilities to overachieve their quality and operational goals.

We are looking for a Clinical Liaison to develope effective and successful relationships with the referral sources and customers resulting in referrals that meet the census goals of the Center. Assess and evaluate potential patients for appropriate admissions and facilitate the admission process, working closely with the hospital staff and internal teams at the Centers.

Qualifications

Education :

• Associates Degree in an appropriate field. Bachelor's degree preferred.

License/Certification:

• Must have a valid driver's license

• RN/LPN/LSW preferred

Experience:

• Two years' experience working in Skilled Nursing facility(s) screening for admissions. Working knowledge of Hospital EMR systems. Manage all aspects of the referral and admission process. Receive and evaluate all referrals to assure clinical appropriateness for the hospital. Work with the hospital to ensure all steps of the admission process are thoroughly completed.

Knowledge/Skills/Ability:

• Ability to project a professional image.

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

• Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.

• Must be assertive and personable with the ability to balance the complex challenge of assessing patient care clinical needs and appropriateness of admission to the facility.

• Communication skills- both written and oral- must be exemplary.

• Must have the ability to present to a variety of audiences.

• Must possess strong clinical assessments and process skills.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

• Working knowledge of hospital EMRs (Allscripts, 4Next, NaviHealth, Epic)

• Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions.
