Piper Companies is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join a well-known healthcare organization. The Clinical Pharmacist will be joining a collaborative and supportive team in order to provide care to meet the member's needs. This role is fully remote and requires that this person be a Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina.

Responsibilities for the Clinical Pharmacist:

• Review prior authorization requests and determine appropriate medications based on a member's benefits and coverage criteria
• Plan and manage the delivery of pharmacy benefits and services to subscribers
• Complete medical reviews for Medicare
• Collaborate with provider groups and other members of the healthcare team

Qualifications for the Pharmacist:

• Licensed Pharmacist in NC (RPh)
• Utilization review and prior authorization experience required
• Knowledge of drug coding and NCPDP claims adjudication systems
• Managed Care experience preferred

Compensation for the Pharmacist:

• Hourly Rate: $45-$50/hr, based on experience
