Position Summary

Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities. The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health and the pharmacy department by engaging directly with patients, multidisciplinary teams, and payers.

Minimum Requirements

High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher

2 years of related experience

Must be registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire

Must maintain and complete additional job specific competencies

Other Information

Part time position - 20 hours per week

Position interviews patients to obtain a list of home medications and enters into patient's electronic health record.

Position will cover days off and weekends.

Potential shifts will be days, mid-day shift, and evening with 12-hour weekend day shifts.
