The Translational Research Coordinator ensures the coordination of Thomas Jefferson University IRB approved oncology translation research studies and biobanks by means of consenting patients, obtaining and processing specimens, data capture, and management.
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree/Master's degree and previous experience preferred.

- Development of study specific documents, checklists, and workflows.
- Implement study procedures including consenting patients and procuring biospecimens.
- Process samples in the laboratory for storage.
- Input information about specimen collection and processing as well as patient information from chart review into database(s).
- Coordinate with study sponsors, participants, and co-investigators which include physicians and researchers across departments internally and externally.
- Coordinate projects stemming from the biorepository.
- Prepare interim reports and statistics.
