Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

Job Summary

Supports clinical research projects by coordinating projects and drug trials, assessing patients' qualifications, and facilitating protocols. Collects and reviews lab results, patient data, and lab specimens; administers medications and protocol-specific treatments. Performs general laboratory duties and specialized nursing duties, trains new staff, and ensures regulatory adherence.

Essential Functions

The Division of Geriatric Medicine is hiring a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to assist in research studies under the direction of Dr. Susan Greenspan. This position will travel to long-term care facilities for study participant visits and recruitment including collecting human specimens and administering study drug or placebo.
