Position: Customer Service Representative

Hours: Full- Time & Part-Time available /Monday - Friday & Weekends schedules / Mornings & Evenings hours

Pay Rate: $23.00/HR

The Spirit of the Position:

We are hiring an Ambassador/Customer Service Representative to greet and create a welcoming atmosphere for Kaiser employees, patients, guests, and clients at our Kaiser-South Sacramento; To help resolve inquiries and communicate in a positive and professional manner.

Principal Job Duties:

• Welcome each patient and guest with a warm smile and offering to help him/her/them to find the appropriate destination within the hospital campus.
• Communicate verbally in a professional and friendly manner
• Check in every visitor to the hospital
• Provide and distribute forms, information pamphlets to patients and visitors as needed

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• - Minimum 1 year of customer service or related field.

Skills:

• - Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. - Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• - Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness. - Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop and squat frequently throughout a shift
