CloudKit Client Tools and Automation Engineer

You will be working on key components of the iCloud platform, helping the team deploy, integrate, test existing and new features. Your work will help to power entirely new applications and scale existing ones, such as FaceTime, PushNotifications, iCloud Drive, Photos, and Backup. Key Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Objective-C, C, Swift, or C++
Experience with Apple development tools
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment systems
Proven track record of working on rapid development cycles and shipping software on tight schedules
Excellent written and verbal communication

We work on the client-side of iCloud services, building the foundations for a secure and private cloud, from device to device encrypted storage to protected compute. Apple's commitment to privacy runs deep and this team is key to extend that commitment to the cloud. This position will involve close collaboration with the CloudKit team, several teams working on internal tools and various systems throughout Apple. This job entails both new test, and tools development, as well as debugging and maintaining existing infrastructure. We are looking for engineers who are not afraid to dive in and problem solve, often complex multi layered issues.
In this role, you will:
• Work with the CloudKit Client team to understand impactful changes and prioritize work
• Work with Apple's tooling teams to understand the future evolutions of the systems we rely upon
• Work with our server counterparts to understand and limit our impact on infrastructure, and design new scalable test systems
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.
