Monroe Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with over 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to precision.

Location: Oxford, MA

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup: Prepare and set up CNC machines according to production requirements, including loading and unloading raw materials, selecting tools, and inputting the correct machine settings.
• Operation: Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications, ensuring all dimensions and tolerances are met.
• Programming: Interpret and modify CNC programs as needed to optimize machine performance and achieve desired results.
• Quality Control: Perform routine inspections of machined parts, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to prevent downtime and maintain optimal performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, material usage, and machine settings.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, production managers, and other machinists to improve processes and meet production goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall production quality.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files. Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Equipment: Experience with a variety of CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise components to tight tolerances.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues independently.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
