Maintenance Technician

About the Role: Our client, a leader in the precision machining industry, is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience maintaining and repairing CNC production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain CNC production machinery.
• Rebuild and reinstall hydraulic pumps and cylinders.
• Install and remove gears, bearings, and bushings.
• Navigate and repair CNC controls preferably from FANUC, Heidenhain, Siemens.
• Diagnose electrical failures in CNC equipment.
• Understand refrigeration systems for CNC machine chillers.
• Move, level, and anchor large CNC equipment.
• Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Bend and install electrical conduit; solder copper piping (¼" to 2").
• Repair and reinstall CNC machine way covers.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining CNC production machinery.
• Advanced certifications in welding, electricity, or related fields are desired.
• Strong understanding of CNC equipment components and controls.
