Volt is immediately hiring for a CNC Programmer in Gardena, CA
As a CNC Programmer you will:
- Operate and set up vertical, horizontal, and 5 axis cnc mills.
- Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
- Program with GibbsCam
- Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
- Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
- Monitor the accuracy of cuts.
- Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Familiarity of DMG Mori,Fadal, Fanuc and Siemens control.
This is a direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical, vocational, or military training or related experience preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of machining experience
- Must be able to comprehend blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents.
Schedule:1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
*Pay Rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
