Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Programmer in Westminster, CA.

As a(n) CNC Programmer you will:

• Programming: Writing and optimizing CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using software like MasterCam.
• Setup: Setting up CNC machines, including selecting and installing the appropriate tools and fixtures.
• Operation: Running the machines to produce parts, ensuring they meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving any issues that arise during the machining process.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications, using tools like calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
• Documentation: Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
• Collaboration: Working with engineers, machinists, and other team members to improve processes and ensure efficient production.
• Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines to keep them in good working order.

This is a Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years of experience in programming and setting up lathes with live tooling (mill/turn).
• Proficiency in lathe programming and live tooling (mill/turn) using MasterCAM or similar software.
• Skilled in setting up and selecting tools on CNC lathes.
• Experienced in running parts with tight tolerances.
• Knowledgeable in GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Background in aerospace manufacturing.

Salary: $52,000 - $72,800 per year

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
