This company is looking to add an experienced Collections Specialist to the team who can effectively and professionally collect on outstanding balances while maintaining valuable customer relationships. Collections Specialist Benefits and Compensation:

Collections Specialist Job Duties:

• Responsible for applying Company's credit and collection policies, practices and procedures to the requirements of accounts assigned
• Reviews accounts to identify past due customers and to determine proper course of action
• Plans and maintains a program for the systematic follow up and collection of amounts due
• Prepares presentations for customers to resolve collection issues
• Requests or approves reinstatement of credit privilege, when necessary
• Provides management with status logs and reports as needed
• Follows up on billbacks and short payments
• Maintains file of customer contacts, agreements, and documentation

Collections Specialist Skills/Qualifications:

• High School or GED; B2B collections experience
• 2+ years of experience in credit and collections
• Strong written & verbal communication skills - i.e. clear, concise, polite and professional
• Ability to analyze complex problems and identify solutions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Team player, willing to learn new tasks
• Solid critical thinking and analysis and attention to detail
• Superb communications skills required
