Collections Specialist

A client of Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts through direct contact with customers, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely collection of payments. The role requires a strong understanding of billing procedures and effective communication skills to resolve disputes and discrepancies. The Collections Specialist will also be expected to maintain accurate records, prepare reports on the status of accounts, and recommend actions for delinquent accounts.

Required Skills & Experience

1-2 years of billing or collections experience or an associates in accounting
Experience with SAP or other ERP/tracking systems.
strong phone skill and the ability to make 40-460 calls per day.
Experience with Excel
