Commercial Finance Manager - HYBRID

Reporting to the CFO, who has an excellent reputation as a leader, this individual will step into the organization and be responsible for building out and managing all of the data and analytical needs of sales and marketing. The role will encompass assisting with sales volume budgeting, optimizing profitability through proforma modeling, sales rebates & commissions, managing deductions, and will involve heavy analysis regarding pricing strategies. As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, supervise & mentor your team, and ensure compliance with GAAP. This position is located in the East Tampa area and would be a great fit for either an experienced Finance Manager coming from a CPG or manufacturing environment who is ready to take the next step in their career. Commercial Finance Manager Job Duties:

• Develop and oversee financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and evaluate pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness.
• Conduct financial analysis for new product launches, market expansions, and other growth initiatives.
• Manage financial planning tools and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
• Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide business performance and financial health.
• Analyze commercial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to drive profitability.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Commercial Finance Manager Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, required
• 6+ years professional experience with a slant towards commercial/sales finance
• Experience within a manufacturing/CPG environment HIGHLY preferred
• Large ERP experience required (SAP, Oracle Fusion, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365)
• Solid Excel skills required, exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) a plus!
• Prior successful supervisory experience required
• Previous experience thriving in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment required
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Solid critical thinking and attention to detail
• Strong planning and organization skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in simple terms and present results to various levels of management, including executives
• Superb verbal and written communications skills required across all departments
