Our Commercial Lines department is seeking candidates for a team assistant class beginning December 9, 2024. Team assistants support the underwriting team in servicing agencies by processing tasks needed in the endorsement issuance process. Team assistants will also be responsible for maintaining overall quality and efficiency of work performed within their team. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.

Many departments at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio, offer hybrid work options, empowering associates to work from home several days a week. Depending on your role and responsibilities, hybrid options may be available for those working at headquarters.

Starting pay: The pay rate for this position is $16.50 an hour. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:
  • maintain an assigned territory to complete work assignments
  • process e-CLAS endorsements to support agency requests whether work comp or package policies
  • perform basic research
  • enter motor vehicle reports, as needed


Be equipped with:
  • working knowledge of e-CLAS manuals, including how to navigate and interpret them
  • working knowledge of state rating manuals, workbench and EDM application
  • the ability and willingness to work in a team setting
  • maintaining a positive attitude
  • making efficient use of time
  • demonstrating an acceptable level of attention to detail
  • the ability to develop positive relationships
  • demonstrating adaptability to new processes and procedures
  • the ability to collaborate and communicate with underwriters and associate underwriters
  • applying problem solving and decision-making skills
  • utilizing the appropriate communication method for the situation - email, phone, transaction notes, face-to-face, or virtual
