The role you'll contribute:

The Communication and Strategic Program Manager leads the day-to-day communications, events, and project management for the AdventHealth Corporate Services Region. Working in coordination with many cross-functional teams, the Manager will lead all communication initiatives and is responsible for the development, implementation and management of all internal communications deliverables. This role will bring relevant experience and a proven track record of success in organizing projects, adherence to timelines and strong communication collateral strategy and development.

• Responsible for corporate services region communications and events, including the local execution of system-wide communication or event initiatives.

• Collaborates with regional leaders to understand key goals and initiatives, to align and develop compelling content for communications and events relevant to Corporate Services.

• Manages direct reports and ad hoc teams.

• Create and manage regional agendas, aligning to overall themes, topics and content to align with executive leadership goals

• Monitors budget and resource allocation for special events, including communication and experience needs

• Builds strong relationships with cross-functional teams to understand key issues and risks and provide insight and connections

• Manages standardized templates, processes and procedures to effectively communicate and report progress of corporate services region efforts in a proactive manner

• Drives new and innovative tools and channels to enhance engagement and communication for Corporate Services team members ensuring accurate, timely and relevant information

• Collaborates with the Campus Administration team on communication and event needs, focusing on leadership engagement, deployment of internal activities, safety and security messaging and other related topics

• Leads day-to-day project management for the campus administration department

• Responsible for the drafting and sending of emergency messages

• Manages creative productions including print, video and digital

• Oversees maintenance and addition of campus resources on the Corporate Campus Connect site

• Performs special assignments as requested by Leadership.

• Editor for all communication materials that must be accurate, no misspellings, proper grammar, and completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong process and organizational skills as well as natural disposition toward customer experience and relationship management

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility and adaptability to change

• Strong writing and editorial skills

• Ability to produce large amounts of work effectively and efficiently without error

• Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to changing responsibilities within project-oriented environment

• Superior computer and presentation skills

• MS Office Suite

• SharePoint

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

• Graphic design skills such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop or Canva

• Experience with task management systems such as Monday.com or Asana

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field

• 5 years-experience required in one or more of the following: communications, events, marketing or related field

• Professional writing portfolio required (newsletters, social media content, press releases, scripts, etc.)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role will lead and oversee multiple employees at the staff level.
