As a member of the Product Management organizational team, you will have the opportunity to work, strategize, prioritize, and ultimately recommend ways to educate the insurance industry - externally and internally.

About the Role

We are seeking a Communications Product Manager, who's product will consist of all communication artifacts used to educate the insurance industry about the appropriate and uses of data for insurance, benefits and the transparency of our data to the insurance consumer, and our compliance to regulatory entities. This candidate will primarily partner and coordinate with the LexisNexis Corporate Communications and Marketing teams, while working with team members from Government Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and Product Management. Some examples of proactive and reactive communications will be position papers, white papers, product filing documents, market conduct responses, and team educational materials in the form of power point presentations. This position will also own a Regulatory Insights Repository, designed to help internal and external customers find important insurance market education materials quickly and easily.

We are looking for an experienced insurance communications manager who is customer-focused and passionate about business partnership and problem-solving; and who can independently develop effective educational communication artifacts, effectively collaborate as part of a cross-functional team, effectively prioritize competing demands, and remain ever-focused on how our solutions work and how they benefit carriers and their ultimate customers.

This role will be hybrid in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities
  • Working with Marketing and Corporate Communications, develop, coordinate and manage all Insurance Market Education artifacts such as
    • Presentations
    • Facts sheets
    • White papers
    • Media talk tracks
    • Position papers
    • Consumer Insurance Education internal website content
  • Coordinating the approval and use of above materials with the Product Principal of Market Education, as well as Corporate Communications, Marketing, Government Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and Product SMEs and will be 100% focused on insurance product education.
  • Developing and maintaining a library of approved:
    • All external communications about the use of data in insurance and make sure the team and senior leadership are aware of issues
    • Model filing documentation (working with the Senior PM)
    • Market Conduct Information and Responses
    • Position documents (e.g. NAIC and AI, Disparate Impact and Predictive Models).
    • White papers
  • Developing weekly/ monthly reporting of activity for senior leadership and internal partners
  • Keeping a library of all industry article links (with a brief summary) on the topic of the use of data in insurance. Distribute to an established group accordingly.


Requirements
  • Possess a BA/ BS degree in business, journalism and/or public relations ideal.
  • Have 1-5 years of experience in the insurance and or legislative/ regulatory/ non-profit arena
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with writing industry articles, white papers, position statements, media announcements/responses.
  • Demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office products, especially in PowerPoint.
  • Have project management experience
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, especially to senior leadership
  • Have the ability to work in a Matrix work environment
  • Have the ability to travel if/ as required
