Community Engagement Program Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Program Manager to join our Workplace team at Gigafactory Nevada. As a key member of our team, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive community engagement strategies focused on Northern Nevada, with an emphasis on budgeting, outreach, community partnerships, and school/university collaborations.


Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive community engagement strategies to enhance Tesla's presence and impact in Northern Nevada
• Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, organizations, stakeholders, and educational institutions
• Design, implement, and oversee outreach programs, events, and initiatives that foster community connections
• Develop and manage partnerships with schools, colleges, and universities
• Create and manage annual budgets for community engagement initiatives and events
• Track engagement metrics to measure program effectiveness and inform future strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement efforts with Tesla's overall mission and manage day-to-day program operations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in community engagement, public relations, or a related field
• Strong relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders in Northern Nevada
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills with attention to detail
• Strong project management, organizational, and event planning experience
• Proven analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to track and measure program effectiveness
• Experience with budget management, financial planning, and working in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work for community events
