The In-N-Out Burger Community Engagement department and Community Impact team has an excellent opportunity for a Community Impact Specialist I in the Irvine, CA* office.

The Community Impact Specialist will report to the Community Impact Supervisor and will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and execution of all aspects of the Community Impact Team's Associate volunteer programs and community-based programs. This person will be a team member of the Community Engagement department, which includes the In-N-Out Burger Foundation, Slave 2 Nothing Foundation, Fundraising, and Donations.

*This position is full-time, in-office only

General Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, managing, coordinating and planning comprehensive Community Impact programs, including but not limited to recruitment, training, scheduling and recognition to ensure successful implementation and execution.
• Collaborate with internal departments and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of Community Impact initiatives.
• Track and report on Community Impact program metrics, including participation rates, impact measurements, and satisfaction feedback.
• Represent In-N-Out Burger's Community Engagement Department when meeting with community organizations, non-profits, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities that align with the company's giving strategy.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of ongoing, positive relationships with community partners, sponsors, and volunteers to support continued engagement; including but not limited to regular assessment and site visits.
• Assist with updating program budgets, including tracking expenses and submitting accurate financial reports.

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• Pay Range is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
• The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors
• Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Department needs will call for occasional evenings and weekends
• Travel time: It is anticipated that 10% - 20% of the work time will be spent in the field, which includes travel to all states where INO operates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Human Services, Social Science, Business, Social Welfare, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in volunteer coordination, event planning, or corporate social responsibility.
• 2 + years of In-N-Out Burger store associate experience preferred.
• Genuine passion for serving people, caring for the community, and supporting those affected by hunger and homelessness.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a people-first mentality, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service as a representative of the Community Impact team and In-N-Out Burger.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
• Proficiency in office computer skills, including intermediate-level Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Asana or other task management software preferred; experience with CVENT is a plus.
• Familiarity with VolunteerHub or other volunteer management software is a plus.
