What you will be doing

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living offering companionship care
• Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand
• Perform light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Companion services
• Prepare a home cooked meal (you don't need to be a gourmet chef)
• A Homemaker/Companion will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services

What you bring along

• Successful completed HHA/CNA state required course would be appreciated but not mandatory
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Homemaker Companion must be able to lift at least 15 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Reliable transportation is required.
