Job Description:

The UF Health Cancer Center is the 72nd NCI designated cancer center and the only one at a public university in the State of Florida. As a matrix cancer center, we span 11 of the University of Florida's 16 colleges, pulling together a world-class, multi-disciplinary membership of over 330 faculty and 150 staff to address the challenges of the cancer burden faced by the population we serve as we work together to find a cure.

As the Compliance Analyst for our NPV Portfolio as part of our Project Management Office at the UF Health Cancer Center (UFHCC), you will be responsible for administration of Conflict of Interest for the nanoparticle portfolio of trials as well as for management of a portfolio of IITs as the primary project manager. This position requires a functional understanding of project management modalities as well as a foundational awareness of clinical research practices, clinical and oncological terminology, and cancer treatment practices. A thorough understanding of COI policies and clinical workflows will be essential to success in this position.

In your new role you will be responsible for the following:
  • Ensuring compliance with University Conflict of Interest (COI) plans and leading portfolio-wide meetings to maintain communication across individual study teams and protocols.
  • Working with PI(s) to develop initiation plans for new IITs, coordinating efforts with relevant partners including those in regulatory, compliance, and study coordination.
  • Ensuring source document verification and quality control of data entered into electronic CRFs, maintaining study related databases, running regular reports and providing clear, comprehensive data sets to investigators.
This is an experienced, professional level position, ideal for candidates with experience in clinical trials management and compliance for human subjects research. Expected Salary:

$65,000 - $72,500, annually; commensurate with education & experience.

This is a TEAMS position, and is eligible for a suite of excellent benefits, retirement options, and paid leave .

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of experience in appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Bachelor's in Nursing, Basic Sciences, and/or Health Care/Administration.
  • Clinical research/trials coordination experience is highly desirable, as well as exposure to oncological and clinical research concepts and terminology.
  • Expert understanding of research ethics and the responsible conduct of research, with a focus on the regulations and guidelines governing human subject clinical trials.
  • Two to four years of project management experience and/or study coordination experience either in an academic clinical research center or an industry research facility.
  • Basic skillset and/or training in project management and awareness of various project management modalities and techniques (PMI, Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, etc.).
