Position: Cyber Safety Compliance Analyst
Location: Hybrid Onsite - In office Tues/Wed/Thurs, virtual Mon/Fri.

Pay Rate: $80/hr - $85/hr

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
  • Compliance Analyst will assist with the development and implementation of cyber safety procedures to safeguard OT systems onboard our ships from cyber threats
  • Ensure compliance of OT third-party suppliers; This entails reviewing contracts, conducting audits, and verifying that that OT third-party suppliers comply with cyber security standards
  • Stay up to date on maritime cyber regulations and best practices; Continuously researching and understanding evolving maritime cyber regulations from the IMO, U.S. Coast Guard, Flag States, Classification Societies, and industry standards bodies
  • As a Compliance Analyst, you will assist with cyber safety training by contributing to the development and implementation of training programs to educate crew members on cyber safety best practices
  • Support OT cyber safety risk management, including risk assessments, Pen Tests, remediation efforts, and tabletop exercises; Collaborate with appropriate teams, identifying recovery plans, and creating cyber incident documentation
  • Assist with reviewing and auditing fleet-wide compliance with OT cyber safety procedures
  • Create dashboards and report to visualize and communicate cyber safety posture and potential risks
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related area is required; An advanced degree is desirable; Discipline/Major: Cybersecurity, Business Analysis, Operational Technology, Compliance, Audit, Network Essentials, IT Servers, End User Computing
  • 5 years minimum experience in cyber security analysis or a related field
  • Working knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST); Extensive experience building process, controls, operating procedures, and guidelines; Demonstrated ability to solve compliance issues by documenting corrective and preventative action plans; Understanding of maritime OT systems is a plus
  • Cybersecurity, Business Analysis, IT Compliance, Audit, Network Security, and Project Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer engagement skills, plus strong organization, presentation, and documentation abilities
Preferred Skills:
  • CISSP, CRISC, CISM or other Security Professional Certification
  • Proven 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, compliance, cybersecurity analysis, compliance, and audits

  • Analytical Acuity: Attention to detail when reviewing contracts, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and develop solutions to ensure compliance.

  • Vendor Management & Audits: Proven ability to review contracts, conduct audits, and ensure OT third-party vendor compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Cyber Safety Procedures & Training: Strong skills in creating and implementing cybersecurity procedures and/or awareness programs to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Maritime Cyber Regulations: In-depth knowledge of maritime OT cyber regulations and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • CISSP, CRISC, CISM or other Security Professional Certification
