Title: Comply to Connect Network Engineer

Location: 100% remote Eastern Hours

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000, depending on experience

Type: Direct Permanent Hire w/ Client

We are seeking aSecret ClearedNetwork Engineer with experience in planning, designing, implementing, and sustainment of a DoD Comply to Connect (C2C) security framework. This will be in support of one of our large government customers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD)Secret level Security Clearance.
  • Security Certification: (Security+, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SCCP)
  • Cisco OS Certification: (CCNA, CCNP)
  • 6-9+ yearsof direct hands-on experience designing, deploying, and tuning the NAC solution of 10,000+ end points.
  • Firm understanding of networking concepts with strong customer service skills.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco ISE.
  • Experience with SolarWinds, TCPDump, and Wireshark, and will be able to analyze network traffic and submit written and verbal status reports as required.
  • Experience with the creation, submission, review, and representation of complex changes in a "Change Management" environment.
  • Firm understanding of large-scale LAN/WANs and associated technologies as they relate to providing a secure, reliable, and fault-tolerant network.
  • Experience with implementation, sustainment, maintenance, and administration of the Cisco ISE NAC Solution.
  • Experience with Cisco Firepower ASR/ISR/CSR/ASA and Unified Communications Management appliance.
  • Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting the overall performance, stability and availability of the LAN switching Architecture.
  • Should be capable of organizing, tracking, and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, high paced, team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of related cloud technologies on which Armis depends including but not limited to containers, Kubernetes, RESTful API, and microservices.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a multi-functional team environment in relation to the deployment and support of the physical/virtual network infrastructure, which includes technologies such as VMWare, Linux, Windows Server, physical servers, and enterprise storage arrays.
  • A strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priorities.
  • Eagerness to learn with quality, detailed focus.
  • Ability to collaborate with awareness and responsiveness to customer needs.


Job Description

  • Plan, design, deploy, and continue to support a mission critical project for the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Armis Agentless Devices Security Platform
  • Deploy and continued support of enterprise network infrastructure systems in the areas of Router/Switch, Security, and Wireless technologies.
  • Utilized multiple switch vendors; Juniper, Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto Firewall, and Panorama
  • Perform maintenance and sustainment of all Cisco ISE NAC components to ensure performance, stability, and availability conforming to established service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Provide administration and technical support for Cisco ISE servers.
  • Deliver timely and responsive technical support of all ISE components to address service degradations, interruptions, or other such impactful events in accordance with the established SLA.
  • Attend planning sessions to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Recommend cost-effective, technically feasible network solutions that meet capacity requirements, provide long-term scalability, and anticipate future growth and performance needs.
  • Document projects, support actions and other administrative artifacts to serve as reference material for related support activities and management staff.
  • Ensure incidents and service requests adhere to established SLA.
