Position Summary:

The Computer Systems Analyst III will operate, maintain and upgrade, all test beds and PITCO facilities. The contractor shall perform system installation validation testing, repairs, modifications and checkout prior to integration into the fleet to ensure quality and operational availability that meets system readiness objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Test the Equipment/system.
• Repair the equipment/system.
• Identify and procure testing material and equipment.
• Develop documentation as deficiencies warrant.
• Examine/Comply with schedules for equipment/system software loading, installation, material delivery, and ship/shore availability.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format.
• Ensure necessary administration tasks are completed; direct others as necessary.
• May serve as a Shipcheck Lead and assumes additional technical and leadership responsibilities as needed to solve hardware/software issues.
• May be tasked as a Travel Team Lead to assist in providing technical support to fleet organizations.
• Propose solutions to issues and problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience and Clearance:

• This position requires an existing U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the Top Secret/SCI level. Individual must be able to maintain the necessary security clearance/eligibility for employment. U.S. Citizenship is required.
• HS/GED & cert within 1.5 yrs
• Five (5) years of Computerized System experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating system.
• Certification - Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications. Demonstrated experience with TACNET, or with COR approval, other Navy C4I systems.

Pay Range: $24 - $38 per hour
