In the role of Construction Data Specialist, we'll count on you to:

  • Gather and analyze collected data
  • Support the materials department section leaders on research
  • Support construction projects and collecting construction materials related data
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Understanding of construction plans and FDOT project specifications
  • Ability to work within a team of professionals
  • Ability to organize data and work with project controls to create reports
  • Understanding of construction materials
  • Roadway and bridge construction inspection field knowledge
  • Understanding of FDOT computer programs necessary to perform those duties


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years contract related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
  • Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
  • Excellent writing and people skills
  • Strong math and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
