Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Engineer in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Provide software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Perform testing activities by understanding business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Create test cases for functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing for software implementation. Perform test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing. Route all test cases, testing results and reports for approvals as per established validation protocols.

Requirements
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
  • Synchronizing integration testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, utilizing Selenium;
  • Developing automation test scripts using Selenium for end-to-end validation of the CA Gen user interfaces;
  • Tracking system defects using Jira, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details;
  • Strategizing and facilitating integration testing phases, utilizing Geb and Spock, and leveraging Java as the programming language;
  • Assisting in designing test plans and drafts and executing test cases, using Jira and Jenkins; and
  • Writing SQL queries of moderate to high complexity.
