Duties:
  • Provides support and assistance in the identification, development and delivery of educational programs or initiatives. Typically works under general supervision, while performing assignments that are varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involve limited responsibility.
  • Planning, development, and implementation of designated student and faculty continuing education programs and services to ensure quality of programs.
  • Supports preparation of program agreements, grant writing initiatives, budgets, and related information.
  • Coordinates and distributes course/program evaluations. Communicates with clients on participant satisfaction metrics. Analyzes customer feedback for trends and discrepancies.
  • Provides market research on service/program area, competitor pricing, industry news, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitors enrollments and reports updates to Manager.
  • Serves as a liaison with college and department contacts for approvals of courses and facilities.
  • Works closely with MarComm and Manager for marketing strategy and promotion of courses, including but not limited to content creation, digital marketing, and brand management.
  • Updates and maintain websites, including the online platform for course registration.
  • Compiles information and prepares reports.
  • Serves as staff liaison for the OUCOD Continuing Education Committee, producing agendas, planning meetings, and carrying out the initiatives of the committee.
  • Manages the Facilities Rentals Program, including scheduling, coordination of staff, invoicing, and all other related duties.
  • Assists in making travel arrangements and reimbursements.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
  • Provides support and assistance for Alumni and External Affairs Department programming, including but not limited to Scientific Day, Faculty Appreciation events, and Alumni Association programs.
  • Works closely with the Director of Alumni and External Affairs to coordinate logistics of Alumni and University-related programming.
  • Works closely with MarComm and Manager for marketing strategy and promotion of programming, including but not limited to content creation, digital marketing, and brand management.
  • Assists with on-site management of events.
  • Supports preparation of vendor contracts, budgets, and related information.
  • Updates and maintains websites, including the online platform for event registration.
  • Compiles information and prepares financial and attendance reports for events as needed.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.


Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Public Relations or related field, AND:
  • 12 months of administrative or program support experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.

Skills:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • E xcellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative work style
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases
  • Ability to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty, and staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
