The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is the state agency responsible for ensuring clean air and water, the safe management of toxics and hazards, the recycling of solid and hazardous wastes, the timely cleanup of hazardous waste sites and spills, and the preservation of wetlands and coastal resources.

Create EJ Community Contact Pamphlet with Graphics/Images for EJ Populations in the Commonwealth
Lead on the creation of an EJ Community Pamphlet which includes MassDEP contacts for certain programs of interest. The pamphlet will include graphics, simple terms and plain language and contact information. The pamphlet will be translated using a vendor into the top non-English languages spoken in the Commonwealth and shared with EJ advocacy groups, town and city halls and other locations as appropriate.
Qualifications:
First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days.

Knowledge requested
- Basic graphic designing experience
- Ability to work independently, and in an organized manner with strong attention to detail.
- Computer skills, including a working knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite and virtual meeting platforms, such as Teams.
- Solid reading and writing skills
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
