This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent.

Under direction of the Deputy General Manager, this position serves as the manager of the Contracts and Procurement Services Unit. Duties include, but are not limited to, managing, directing, and developing all contract requests for personal services, purchase orders, Invitation for Bids, Requests for Proposal, Specialized Permit Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, and Letters of Understanding as needed.

This position implements, develops, trains, and manages department policy relating to purchasing, contracting, and reporting. The manager in this position coordinates and develops programs for quarterly quality control reviews, and leads annual contract audits by internal and external entities.
